The MSX Player Mini is a device to play original MSX cartridges on The MSX Mini Replica. It works in a similar way to the classic
MSX Game Reader by ASCII. It can be connected to the MSX Mini Replica trough any of the USB ports of the computer.
How to order
Please consider that this is a totally fan-based development. For the moment, we can't accept further orders because we need to find a new affordable provider to print the circuit boards. However, if you are interested,
send us a message and we'll contact you when we'll be able to order a new bunch. Our intention is that any MSX Player Mini should not cost over 90 Euros per unit.

ResponderEliminarHi, An! The MSX Player Mini works exactly as the original MSX Player. It has to be connected to a computer (in this case, to the MSX Mini Replica). It can run almost all the commercial cartridges created for the MSX, MSX2, MSX2+ and MSX Turbo R computers, but it may be not able to read some recent homebrew ones due to their own read protections.

Hola, Ángel! Fabricamos los MSX Mini Réplica en lotes de 10 unidades que se financian mediante crowfunding. Puedes reservar una unidad a través de una Donación Paypal de 85 Euros + gastos de envío. Cuando se hayan completado un grupo de 10 reservas, te enviaremos un correo electrónico y recibirás el ordenador en aproximadamente 7 a 10 días.
ResponderEliminarPuedes cancelar tu reserva en cualquier momento, incluso si el proceso de fabricación ha comenzado, y en tal caso recibirías un reembolso completo, pero si el paquete ya hubiera sido enviado a tu dirección, necesitariemos una devolución previa para realizar el reembolso. EliminarYo he tenido mucha suerte. :-D Con mi pedido se completó el lote y lo recibí apenas 10 dias despues. Estoy muy contento con el cacharro, solo hay que enchufarlo a la tele para jugar al MSX en cualquier parte, sin necesidad de complicarse la vida configurando cosas. Tengo 2 hijos de 8 y 10 años y el MSX Mini se ha convertido en su juguete favorito.
